Diogo Nogueira lives and works between Porto and Paris.

His artistic practice spans painting, drawing, ceramics, and installation, addressing themes such as Image, Iconography, Gesture, and Sexuality. His work, often infused with humor, presents figures in moments of celebration, adoration, and protest, creating shared mythologies that blend personal and collective narratives. A Queer celebration of freedom, his art fosters new forms of community and interaction, using the image as a medium for collective rituals.

DIOGO NOGUEIRA (b. 1999, Porto) holds a degree in Fine Arts – Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto (2017-2021) and completed a postgraduate degree in Fine Arts at the Escola Superior de Artes e Design in Caldas da Rainha (2023-2024). Currently, he is pursuing a diploma in Fine Arts at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris supported by a Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation scholarship.

Recent exhibitions include encontro inesperado (Galeria Graça Brandão, Lisbon, 2024), Queremos Tudo (Galeria Presença, Porto, 2024), É Urgente o Amor (CAPC Sede, Coimbra, 2024), and Elevador da Glória (Centro de Arte Oliva, Aveiro, 2024). His work is represented in several public and private collections, including the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, the Municipal Collection of Porto, the Norlinda and José Lima Collection, the Bienal de Arte de Cerveira Foundation.

Nogueria has also participated in various artistic residencies, including at the Museu do Côa (2024) and Fórum Maia (2023). He is currently a member of the Clube de Desenho in Porto, where he also works as an art educator.
